Downloading SGE

We will deploy Sun Grid Engine (SGE) on nodeC as a "remote" batch system, and then later will configure Globus GRAM WS so that jobs can be submitted into SGE via Globus from "the grid".

Read the SGE binary license at:

and make sure you and your organization can agree with it. Scroll down and click "I Accept" to click through to the download page.

There are two tarballs that need to be downloaded.

It is important that you download these versions of SGE or later versions. Earlier versions will not work with the Globus GRAM WS.

The two tarballs that you need to download are these files or more recent versions with similar naming convensions:

sge-6.0u7_1-bin-lx24-x86.tar.gz
sge-6.0u7-common.tar.gz
